PROGRAMS
The work that takes place in the Area de Conservación Guanacaste
has specialized in shaping Programs that are technically prepared based
on the accumulated experience and following one of our main philosophies
learn by doing. This has permitted us to develop the activities and
processes which allow us to complete the objectives and the mission of the
ACG, in the most realsitic way possible. ( see: Reflection

Currently, there are nine programs placed in three groups which represent
different fields: Ecodevelopment for the Ecotourism Program,
Biological Education and Research; Management, integrated
in the Programs of Operations, Sectors, Protection and Control, Prevention
and Control of Forest Fires, and lastly the coordination of Restoration
and Silviculture which is shaped by the Program of Restoration
and Silviculture and more recently, the Forestry Fomentation
program, which was organized and integrated to carry out the responsibilities
and scopes of the Ministry of Energy and Environment in relation to the
Agrolanscape Area.
