Pitilla Biological Station is open 24 hours a day with attention for visitor between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Pitilla does not have camping areas, programmed activities nor lookouts.

Room and board

Pitilla Biological Station can accomodate 28 people for courses. It has a laboratory and several rooms with beds. For more information please contact Santa Rosa at (506) 695-5598.

How to get here

Follow the interamerican highway until you reach the road to Santa Cecilia. Go into Santa Cecilia and right after the town ends there is another road that leads west to the Biological Station (11 km). Access only in four wheel drive cars or walking from Santa Cecilia.
