Tree from 4-6 m tall and 12 cm DBH.
Flower:
Solitary flowers on the branches. Cream colored. They have a sweet odor.

Fruit:
The fruit is globose, 0.7 cm in diameter. They are purple when mature. They begin to mature in May before the rainy season.

Simple and alternate, lanceolate in form and entire margins. 4-9 cm long. Petiole is grooved.

Walking on the Vivero trail, in the San Crisobal sector, along the banks of the Cucaracho river.
