I. Identification:

Tree from 6-8 m tall.

Flower:

The flowers are yellow. They are solitary and emerge from the axils of the leaves. They emit a characteristic banana odor.

Fruit:

Round fruits, approximatly 2 cm in diameter.

 

 

 

Mature fruits and seeds

Leaves:

Simple, alternate, with an oblanceolate form and entire margins. Approximatly 7-15 cm long.

Dark brown, smooth bark.
