Site description:	Regeneration zones, dry forest in coastal areas. Common birds include parrots and blue jays.
Regulations:	Please stay on the trail, no cutting of any trees nor flowers. Fires only on the grills. No fishing.

How to get here

Private vehicle or bus to Cuajiniquil and then either walk 4 km or find a vehicle. Access available year-around.

Junquillal is located 4 km north of Cuajiniquil, 34 km south east of La Cruz through the interamerican highway or 18 km through Puerto Soley and 58 km. al northwest of Liberia.

Travel time:

San José-Liberia 4 hours.

Liberia-Cuajiniquil 1 hour.

La Cruz-Junquillal 45 minutes.
